Towie-style parties blasted
BRITISH Airways bosses have ticked off flight crew for partying like Towie stars.
An air hostess stripped off and ran round a hotel lobby naked for a dare.
And a pilot and crew member tried to take carp from a pond at five-star Palazzo Montecasino in Johannesburg.
Some are cramming so much into stopovers ® in cities such as Las Vegas and Bangkok they board return flights “absolutely knackered”, one source said.
An insider said they were acting more like raunchy Towie stars such as Danielle Armstrong, seen here out at Faces in Ilford, Essex, on Saturday.
Ian Romanis, BA’s head of mixed fleet, told staff in a memo he had seen crew “at its worst in terms of colleagues behaving inappropriately while down-route”.

He went on: “These colleagues placed their jobs at risk, jeopardised the relationship with some of our hotel partners and potentially tarnished the reputation of British Airways cabin crew.”
One pilot said members of the mixed fleet, who have inferior pay and employment terms to longer-serving crew, “want to go out and party big time”.
He added: “It’s more Towie than the old British Airways way.”
Another pilot said there was a “major problem” with drunken behaviour.
A spokesman for the airline said they had not received any recent complaints from crew hotels and added: “We take the very rare reports of inappropriate behaviour extremely seriously.”
