Fans furious at singer splitting with footie ace
LOUISE Redknapp has been branded “pathetic” after she reportedly filed for divorce from Jamie after 19 years.
The star and former England football star husband were hit by the “Strictly curse” after her stint on the show.
Many blame her friendship with model Daisy Lowe, who she met on Strictly, for her decision to leave him and have more “fun”.
Sources say Louise, former member of girl band Eternal, planned on “re-coupling” with the TV pundit after rediscovering herself. But it seems Jamie has moved on quickly, making a shocked Louise, 43, realise there is no going back.
An angry fan posted on Twitter: “I used to really like @LouiseRedknapp but she’s being incredibly selfish and needs to grow up.”
Prancing
Another disgruntled Twitter user wrote: “The way she’s carrying on is embarrassing. She’s prancing around with her new irritating and interfering mate Daisy Lowe for all to see.”
And another wrote: “… Louise was on SCD and then got fame hungry.”
Mum-of-two Louise, starring on stage in the musical Cabaret, said she was a robotic Stepford Wife in the relationship.
Some fans have leapt to her defence amid reports that Jamie, 44, could not cope with Louise’s return to the limelight.
One posted: “There’s so much bias against Louise! How much has Jamie paid the media! Good for her that she’s left him.”
