A CARING boss has been hailed as the best in the world after she took staff to Spain for their Christmas party.
Arabella Lewis-Smith forked out £5,000 to jet her 20 workers to Madrid for the weekend.
The 42-year-old stumped up for flights, two nights in an Airbnb and two boozy dinners.
The lucky workers soaked up the Spanish winter sun, ate tapas, downed cocktails and went clubbing as Britain shivered in snow, torrential rain and wind.
Arabella, who runs marketing agency Salad Creative in Poole, Dorset, said: “We are a company that cares about its people and being able to treat our 20 staff with a trip to Madrid was a truly delightful feeling.
“Last year we went to the West End for a show and a meal out but this time we wanted to do something a bit different.
“We’ve had an amazing year and I really wanted to reward everyone.” Her marketing manager Fleurie Forbes-Martin said: “When Arabella announced plans for the Christmas do to us in a meeting a few months ago, there were whoops and cheers. “We were so excited about it and it did not disappoint. We all enjoyed exploring the sites, the great food, a few cocktails and we all had a boogie. “It’s all we have talked about since. “Our boss is pretty awesome in general but this was the cherry on top.”
Arabella’s other team outings have included a kayaking trip and a winter walk in the New Forest.
