FISH TO TANK IN

-

THE Tingle Creek meeting is one of the real highlights of Sandown’s year.

I’d be hopeful of getting on the scoresheet with one of my three rides. They all have chances and TERRY THE FISH (1.10), who runs in the Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle, is a very progressive horse. He looks to be improving with every run. Based on his latest run – a good fourth behind Dell ’Arca – he’d be bang there with a chance. Looking at the odds, MAN OF PLENTY (2.20) looks the biggest value of the three, at around 20-1. He was second to Limited Reserve at Haydock a fortnight ago when 4lb out of the handicap and the winner looks a smart horse.

Sophie and Christian Leech are doing well with a string of around 30. As long as this doesn’t come too soon for him, he looks very good value to hit the frame.

My other ride is CRESSWELL BREEZE (3.30), who runs in the Betfair London National Handicap Chase. She is after a National double, having won the Southern one at Fontwell. She clearly loves a marathon trip and hasn’t been hammered by the handicapper, who has raised her 7lb.

The Tingle Creek looks straightforward for FOX NORTON (2.55). Aidan is sponsored by Racing UK, which has recently unveiled its new-look website. Features include seamless betting through the site, oddschecker integration, Timeform Premium Ratings, dedicated racecourse feeds, pop-out video players and 7-day catch up service.
