AFTER dramatically turning his life around in the past 12 months, James Arthur is making huge life commitments.

The popster secured a new record deal and produced a No1 album with Back From The Edge.

Now The X Factor champ, right, has finally saved enough money to buy his own house, five years after winning the ITV show and losing his record deal.

A proud James told me: “I wanna buy a house somewhere close to London or somewhere up north or both.

“My bank statement’s looking pretty healthy at the moment. “I haven’t bought a house yet.” And he plans on making next year as big, if not bigger, than this one was with hopes of another chart-topping record due in the summer.

James revealed: “That’s my focus right now.

“I’m finished with the gigs for this year.

“I’ve been pretty much on the road since January.

“America, Japan, Europe, a couple of UK tours but I haven’t had time to write.

“I’m about halfway through. I wouldn’t say it would be any later than summer. I worked with Max Martin on the latest single.

“I’m going to struggle to top that I think.”

Before that, the Naked hitmaker is taking a well deserved break to celebrate the festivities.

He says: “I do like a bit of mulled wine. I’m gonna see my family then go away, which will be nice to lay on a beach somewhere.”
