TRIBUTES have flooded in to a “beautiful couple” who died in a head-on crash which claimed six lives.

Sign language interpreter Lucy Davis, 43, and her scientist boyfriend Lee Jenkins, 42, were killed when the black cab they were in was hit by an Audi S3 heading in the opposite direction.

Mum-of-two Lucy’s devastated sister Alison Worth praised the couple in a moving post on Facebook.

She said: “As some of you already know it was my beautiful, kind, lovely sister Lucy who died in the taxi. The pain we are enduring is almost unbearable.”

Alison added: “They were great together and had so many plans.

“You will always be in my heart and my thoughts. I miss you so much.”

Lucy’s childhood friend Sally Davis told friends: “She will be with me every day through all the memories we had over the years.”

Taxi driver Imtiaz Mohammed, 33, also died instantly. The three men travelling in the Audi – Tauqeer Hussain, 26, Kasar Jehangir, 25, and Mohammed Fasha, 30 – were killed when thrown from the vehicle in Sunday’s pile-up on Lee Bank Middleway, near Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Jehangir was arrested in 2015 after a high-speed car chase down the M6.

Drugs officers watched as occupants hurled packets of heroin from the speeding vehicle. Jehangir later pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and possession with intent to supply.
