OUT FOR THE CONTE, SAM!

Reality going to bite Toffees Goals guaranteed in world’s biggest match

EVERTON have picked up 13 points from their last 15 and have come from behind to nab 12 points so far this season.

And there is no doubting their spirit. It has been great to see Mason Holgate, Jonjoe Kenny and Dominic Calvert-Lewin thriving in recent weeks – the attitude of the young players was clear when Swansea’s Leroy Fer squared up to Kenny on Monday night.

Everton are at home to Chelsea in today’s early kick-off and this is the acid test for Sam Allardyce’s new regime.

The Toffees have lost their last three games against Chelsea by an aggregate of 10-0, while only Manchester City have won more Premier League games on the road than Antonio Conte’s men this season.

Everton are 5-1 for the win, with Chelsea 13-20 and the draw at 3-1.

It’s fair to say the Toffees have had their share of luck of late. It pains me to say it but I think that will run out today, although the Blues of west London will know they have been in a game.

With Alvaro Morata suspended Eden Hazard is likely to be the main Chelsea striker and the Belgian is 6-5 to score at any time this afternoon.

Last week we napped the 3-1 that Pep Guardiola’s City would break his 19-match winning league run while at Bayern Munich. City are into 5-4 to achieve the feat before today’s home game against Bournemouth, a game that will be their 17th successive win if successful.

Crystal Palace are five points behind Watford, who are 10th in the table, and the Eagles might just be the value at 7-1 to end the season in the top half of the division.

Palace had a horror set of fixtures to start the campaign and Wilfried Zaha was injured on the opening day of the season.

With Zaha, Palace have won 12 from 30 league games in 2017 – without him they’ve lost all eight. Keep him on the pitch and the Eagles can finish top 10.

Mo Salah went into last night’s clash at Arsenal two goals clear in the race to be Premier League top scorer. But the best striker in the division is still Harry Kane.

That’s why we must save on the Spurs striker despite odds of just 7-4. He takes penalties, is unlikely to be rotated and remains hungry for goals.

Also looking ahead, I like the look of 15-8 for Brighton to be relegated.

The Seagulls have scored just once in their last six and that was a dodgy penalty against Liverpool. If they don’t beat a depleted Watford today they would be odds on with me.
