TALL ORDER FOR LITTLE BRITTON

MANCHESTER CITY are dominating in a way even Manchester United didn’t in their Treble year.

And City are in such a powerful groove that they look capable of winning the Quadruple, despite boss Pep Guardiola brushing the idea aside the other night after their Carabao Cup quarter-final penalty shoot-out win over Leicester.

United’s 1999 Treble was historic but they didn’t dominate in the way Guardiola’s side are doing this year.

Some people forget that Bayern Munich wiped the floor with them in the Champions League final, Dennis Bergkamp missed a penalty in the FA Cup and they only won the title on the final day.

City could win every trophy going – and they are doing it in style at the moment.

They are 11 points clear in the league and have nice draws in all the other competitions as well now. I always thought they were favourites for ®Êby PAUL BROWN the Carabao Cup and they are basically in th final now, because, with no disrespect to Bris City, I can’t see them losing their semi-final o two legs.

Then they’ve got Basel in the Champions League and Burnley at home in the FA Cup – when you look at the way they are playing, y have to ask if anyone can stop them.

They are absolutely flying and scoring goa from everywhere.

Kevin De Bruyne looks world class, Serg Aguero is one of the best strikers we’ve ev seen over here and David Silva is on fire.

Call me a cynic, but I think United were grateful losers to Bristol in the cup the other night. I don’t think they fancy bumping into again over two legs. Not after what happene Old Trafford in the league. City embarrassed
