A FORMER Page 3 girl who police feared was being groomed by Islamic State has been released without charge.

Kimberley Miners, 27, was quizzed under the Terrorism Act 2000 and had her home searched.

Police had concerns over her views following a series of social media posts.

They arrested the model on suspicion of being in possession of terror- ist material in October last year. She was initially released on bail, but last night it emerged the probe had been dropped.

A police spokesman said: “The 27-year-old woman from Bradford arrested on suspicion of the possession of terrorist material has been released from her bail without charge.”

Officers feared Kimberley, who also worked as a traffic warden and litter picker, might travel to Syria – following in the footsteps of Brit Sally Jones, dubbed the White Widow, who left for the war zone in 2013.

Kimberley was alleged to have been messaging a fighter in Syria who was urging women to join Isis.

One post showed a Koran next to a cup of tea.

She claimed her interest in Islam was to find peace and help war victims in Syria.

Kimberley has visited Turkey twice and stayed at refugee camps close to the border.

She said: “I’ve gone from glamour model to something completely different. But that again makes you wonder.

“You don’t get s*** for wearing nowt but the second you start wearing the veil you get accused of extremism.”
