ANT McPartlin’s wife has dumped 2017 in the dustbin.
Strictly make-up artist Lisa Armstrong posted a cartoon on Twitter which seemed a clear message to her husband of 11 years.
It featured her holding her nose while carrying a stinking bag of “2017” rubbish buzzing with flies.
Her marriage is thought to be over after a hellish 12 months for the pair which saw I’m A Celeb host Ant in rehab for a painkiller addiction.
They have since separated, leaving Lisa, 41, devastated.
But fans on social media urged her to stay strong. One told her: “Sending you hugs sweetheart – even in the darkest of situations you always need to find the positives.”
Lisa has told pals that she was left “emotionally drained” by the fallout from Ant’s addiction battle.
After he came out of rehab, Ant, 42, reportedly moved out of their £6million London home to give them both space.
He then spent two months filming in the jungle, leaving Lisa behind for her work on Strictly Come Dancing.
Ant was spotted with just his sister Sarah for company on New Year’s Eve.
The troubled host is thought to be seeking a divorce.
Pals say Lisa had hoped they could be reconciled but is getting happier with her newfound independence.
