CHARLEY Webb has teased that her character Debbie Dingle will be out for revenge herself in the soap’s big shock twist.

Viewers discovered last night that her TV boyfriend Tom Waterhouse is a fraud.

He is in fact Joe Tate – the orphaned son of the late Chris Tate (played by Peter Amory from 1989 to 2003), who was sent off to boarding school.

Now grown up, he has returned to wreak his vengeance as he mistakenly thinks Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) murdered his dad by poisoning him.

The truth is that his dad actually committed suicide but framed her.

As part of Joe’s evil plot, he has got together with Debbie (Charley).

And she hints that more drama is on the way.

She said: “Tom’s plot has all been about Charity. Debbie is collateral.

“Part of Debbie is quite broken. She is so shocked and can’t take it in and ¬

Sherlock, when she does her initial reaction is pure hatred.

“But she is always the sort of person to fight. She always bounces back.

“Getting revenge will help her heal. She is a Dingle. We must not forget that!

“There’s a lot of stuff that we have been filming, which has been really interestin­g and emotional – and that’s been quite challengin­g.

“I know there’s quite a lot coming up for her in terms of where she goes next.”
