HEUNG-MIN SON fired in a brilliant equaliser as Tottenham grabbed a share of the spoils at Wembley.

The South Korean’s sensationa­l strike six minutes from time wiped out an equally spectacula­r 30-yard thunderbol­t from West Ham’s Pedro Obiang.

Son’s right-foot drive was no more than Spurs deserved after dominating the match.

It came 14 minutes after midfielder Obiang had stepped away from Christian Eriksen and fired a right-foot rocket which keeper Hugo Lloris could only help into the top right-hand corner of his goal.

It was the Hammers’ first shot on goal of the night, compared to Tottenham’s 20.

Four successive wins at the national stadium, with 15 goals scored and three conceded, suggested the north Londoners had finally got the hang of Wembley.

But their temporary home lacked the buzz it has boasted of late, with plenty of the upper sections not full and fans possibly having overdosed on football over the Christmas period.

Blocked

Spurs started brightly with young Hammers defender Declan Rice clearing a Harry Kane attempted shot and Davinson Sanchez having a shot blocked after Adrian made a mess of claiming the ball.

Angelo Ogbonna did well to get in the way of a poked Kane shot and then block Christian Eriksen’s follow-up.

In the 28th minute Adrian pulled off a fine stop to keep out a Kane curler after the striker was teed up by Dele Alli.

Then Eriksen was just wide of Adrian’s left post from 25 yards with Kane this time the provider.

Kane did not look at his sharpest in the 34th minute when Jan Vertonghen’s superb crossfield ball picked out the run of right-
