Wild pig bites off a finger
A DOG walker’s finger was bitten off by a wild boar.
Clive Lilley, 53, became the first person in Britain attacked by one of the booming population of feral pigs.
He was with his labrador on a woodland track in Lydney, Forest of Dean, Glos, when the boar burst out of the undergrowth.
When Clive removed his glove, the end of his finger fell out.
He said: “I called an ambulance which took me to hospital to have it sewn up.
“They told me it should grow back around as it did not take the nail off.”
