Waitrose DNA kits

POSH supermarket Waitrose could be on the verge of launching DNA testing kits to shoppers.

The £70 mouth swab would tell people which foods are best for them based on genetics.

The creators say the tests would also flag risks for diabetes, allergies and heart disease.

Waitrose nutrition chief Moira Howie said: “Anything that can help customers make healthier choices is very important.”
