FANS MOCK TONI OVER ‘LOVING’ JT
Wife paints ‘perfect’ picture
TV viewers mocked former England captain John Terry’s wife after she portrayed him as a devoted husband.
Terry made headlines in 2010 after reports of an affair with then teammate Wayne Bridge’s girlfriend.
But yesterday his wife Toni bravely opened up about her three-year struggle to fall pregnant and said John reassured her their marriage was strong.
She told ITV’s Lorraine Kelly how she feared she would never have children with the ex-England captain for medical reasons.
And Toni revealed she asked if he was OK with him not being a dad.
Toni, 36, said: “He was 100% fine and said it will just be us, we will ® have loads of fun.” Yet in 2006 Toni gave birth to twins Georgie John and Summer Rose. And she said about her marriage to the ex-Chelsea star: “We know what’s real and what’s not real and that’s why we’ve stayed together.” TV viewer Sammy tweeted: “Cringing at the Toni interview. Portraying the perfect family.” And Miss L said: “How Toni stayed (with) him! I just couldn’t do it.” Bridge’s ex Vanessa Perroncel insisted she and Terry, now an Aston Villa player, were just “friends”.
