In this ferocious, if messy, thriller he is hired by the CIA, where his mentor (Michael Keaton) sets out to harness his anger for the greater good, specifically to scupper an operation seemingly intent on triggering World War Three. LEATHERFACE (18) HOW did the Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s main character turn into such a psycho? If you’re desperate to know, you may want to consider seeing your doctor. That or, I guess, watching this shabby prequel. THE MAN WITH THE IRON HEART (15) WITH a fine cast including Rosamund Pike and Jack O’Connell, this thriller – based on real events – recalls how Czech resistance fighters plotted to bump off evil Nazi Reinhard Heydrich. BAD DAY FOR THE CUT (18) AFTER setting out to avenge the murder of his mother, a farmer makes a shocking discovery in Belfast’s criminal underworld.
