A TANNING salon boss who used her business as a front for a drug dealing operation has been jailed.
Leanne Duffin, 31, drove around in expensive cars and posed as a successful businesswoman believing she was “untouchable”.
She lured vulnerable young people into addiction by selling them cocaine and then forced them to become drug dealers to repay their debt.
Tattooed Duffin, who ran Cosmopolitan Suntan Salon, supplied class A drugs across Chorley, South Ribble and Preston, Lancs.
But she and her gang were arrested last May after an undercover police operation.
Mike Adamson, from Chorley and South Ribyears. ble police, said: “Her tanning salon was essentially a front. She was living the life of a successful businesswoman but she will be left with nothing.”
Duffin, from Wigan, was jailed for eight years at Preston Crown Court.
Her father Brian Duffin, 66, also from Wigan, was sentenced to six
Geraldine Robinson, 51, was jailed for four years, Jordan Whittle, 19, for three years and eight months and Kevin Hewitt, 51, for 12 months.
The Duffins, Robinson and Whittle admitted conspiracy to supply Class A and B drugs.
Hewitt admitted conspiracy to supply Class B drugs.
