(%*' Ludlow – HAPPY DIVA has finished second on five occasions since winning back-to-back handicap hurdles this time last year. Jumping is not the problem as she fenced really fluently when runner-up to Sainte Ladylime at Uttoxeter in November for example but the drop back in trip should help as she looked vulnerable at the finish that day. *%+, Ludlow – PENNYWELL (nb) – ran a good honest race to be second to Minella Gathering at Fakenham, form which was a step up again on her win at Uttoxeter 23 days previously. Champion jockey Richard Johnson continues his association with the mare and they are the duo to beat in this three-mile affair. /%'' Chelmsford – REIFFA (nap) made up a considerable amount of ground to win going away on her racecourse debut at Wolverhampton. Inexperience helps explain why she could not hold an early position in that race but she will have come on for the run and the step up in distance to 6f is also in her favour. Volatile has posted better form than the selection but the promising Reiffa should have the scope to reach a much higher level. /%*' Chelmsford – PULSATING (treble) also came from a poor position on the home turn at Wolverhampton when bidding for his fourth win in six outings for new trainer Archie Watson and jockey Ed Greatrex. The combination had to settle for a fast-finishing third behind Tavener but it showed that this four-year-old filly remains in top shape.
