It’s loo-di mental

-

RUDIMENTAL have vowed never to sell their gongs no matter how desperate they may get.

Piers Agget has insisted S Club 7’s Paul Cattermole will regret selling his BRIT award for £66,000.

Producer Piers admitted he takes too much pleasure in showing off his accolades to ever part with them for any sum of money, and he keeps all of his trophies in his toilet so he and guests can admire them from the loo.

He told me: “I don’t think I could sell an award. If I was mad broke, it might be different, I’d have to be mad broke though.

“It’s good to remember your accolades and they bring some great memories. I just want to carry on remembering those moments forever, they’re kept mainly in the toilet!”

Rudimental – back with new hit These Days featuring Jess Glynne (above, with the lads), Macklemore and Dan Caplen – won’t be adding to their collection this year after failing to receive any nods for the forthcoming BRIT Awards.

However, unlike collaborator James Arthur, Piers isn’t bitter.

He laughed: “The BRIT awards are always a fun night. We normally have a boat party with Disclosure but we haven’t done that for a while. Maybe with our new album next year we can start that up again.

“It’s clearly not our year but we’ll come back big.”
