Ant told to keep it down

Lisa breaks silence in Twitter spree

SCORNED Lisa Armstrong has slammed husband Ant McPartlin for announcing their divorce publicly.

The angry make-up artist turned on her partner of more than 20 years with a “liking spree” of social media posts slamming the telly superstar.

The most recent one she backed read: “He should have focused on it in private not announced his divorce.”

It later added: “Whatever has happened I’ve lost respect for him. Lisa clearly wasn’t THAT bad – 23 years!!.”

Ant pointedly announced it was his decision to split from Lisa in a statement on January 15.

She initially retained a dignified silence as she faces bumping into him at Britain’s Got Talent auditions, where she works as a make-up artist.

But the 41-year-old reportedly liked a flurry of tweets, since deleted, late last week which criticised Ant and suggested he was hiding something.

Some of her Strictly friends are now rallying round Lisa, with Holby City star Chizzy Akudolu, who appeared on the show last year, “sending love” to her pal.

Chizzy added: “Caring, funny and amazing at her job. That’s how I’d describe @lisaAmakeup And that’s all we need to know.”

Lisa has been defiantly wearing her wedding ring as the pair prepare to battle for his £62million fortune.

She has also had a makeover in recent weeks following trolling about her appearance, dyeing her hair pink.

And last week she denied hiring “divorce pitbull” lawyer Baroness Fiona Shackleton.

Ant, who was seen apparently having a great time in London with his mum yesterday, could argue he is a “genius” to stop Lisa getting half of his fortune. She would likely then receive a 40% share and none of his future earnings.
