‘LITTLE SAY FOR US’
SOUNDS like Little Mix’s new album has been taken out of their own hands.
The girls promised to be more involved in the writing process for their upcoming fifth opus. But songwriters are still giving them music – and they haven’t heard any of it yet. On the eve of recording sessions, Jesy Nelson revealed: “We don’t know anything, until we go in the studio, that’s when s*** goes down.” Perrie Edwards added: “We won’t hear anything until next week.” Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he’s written a song for the quartet’s new album.
However, Little Mix haven’t even heard that one.
Leigh-Anne Pinnock said: “We don’t know anything about it, we haven’t heard it.
“We know Ed Sheeran has written for us, but we don’t know the specifics of it.” Fans needn’t worry. With artists like Raye, MNEK and Jade Thirlwall’s boyfriend Jed Elliott of The Struts involved, you can rest assured that the quality will remain high.
Jesy toasted their triple Global Awards win on Thursday with some old-fashioned twerking. And Jade hit back at people who criticise their sexy image, saying: “We are women, we will dress how we want to dress.
“If we want to do a twerk, we’ll do a twerk! As a girlband, and as women, we do face a lot of scrutiny.
“Right now we’re really not arsed what people think.”
Altogether now, three twerks for Little Mix.
