Kevin's up four glory

- by DAVID WOODS

KEVIN DE BRUYNE is aiming to clinch the title by beating Manchester United on April 7.

Treble-chasing Manchester City will be crowned champions if they win their next four games.

Pep Guardiola’s men host last season’s Premier League winners Chelsea tomorrow.

Victory in that one followed by three points against Stoke, Everton and then United would see City take the title.

De Bruyne (right) said: “We want to be champions, if it’s possible in the next four games

that would be nice because then we can concentrate on the Champions League.

“If we can win on Sunday it would be a beautiful week for us.”

The week started with City lifting the Carabao Cup after beating Arsenal at Wembley.

And with one foot already in the Champions League quarter-finals they remain on course for a stunning treble.

But Guardiola is still not happy and subjected his players to a replay of Thursday’s 3-0 Premier League win against the Gunners at the Emirates.

The City boss said: “I am delighted for the victory, but at training we are going to show the players what happened in the last 10 minutes of the first half and first 20 minutes of the second half.

“If that happened in the Champions League, then you would be out.

“We lost too much control, we did not know what we should do.”

Guardiola admits his main focus now is on winning the Champions League for a third time as a manager and overtaking bitter rival Jose Mourinho.

But he will never rest in his pursuit of perfection and added: “It is a joy to be manager of those players but we always have to be focused.

“We are prepared for the Champions League. We are not playing just for today – every game is showing how we are for the future.”

CITY have been fined for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion in their shock 1-0 FA Cup defeat at Wigan.
