Palace turn to fight back

- ALAN ALGER

CRYSTAL PALACE were left heartbroken on Monday as Manchester United fought back to steal three valuable points in the last minute of their televised clash.

While United wanted the win for their battle to stay in the top four, the need for Palace was vital in terms of Premier League survival.

The fixtures don’t get any easier for the Eagles, either. They are at Chelsea in the late live game today and are big outsiders.

The 10-1 quote for an away win might be hard to justify as a bet. But Chelsea are in the midst of their own nightmare fixture schedule – they have played Barcelona and both Manchester clubs in their last three winless games – and Antonio Conte might take the chance to rest players.

I can’t see Chelsea pushing for a large victory and the handicap of Palace with a two-goal headstart looks very tempting at 19-20. We win our bet even if Chelsea win the game by one goal.

Arsenal shook off their bad domestic form to win in Milan on Thursday night.

Whether it was an improved Gunners display or just woeful opposition, we won’t know. However Milan offered very little.

Arsenal take on Watford at the Emirates tomorrow, a fixture in which they were horrendously bad last season.

They also lost away at Watford this season in a match where Troy Deeney (below) said they lacked “cojones”. It’s possible Watford will drift to a backable price as confidence behind Arsenal goes overboard after their Italian job.

Go with Watford on the Double Chance to draw or win at 8-5. ® Don’t forget our ‘4 To Score’ competition where you can win £25,000 for free. We’ve already had three winners so far this year. Register and place your entry before 3pm today. You need to correctly predict the first team to score in each of the Premier League, Championship, League 1 and League 2 3pm fixtures.

We also have a unique Cheltenham competition which is free to play.
