The Welsh star of the BBC’s evening show is tackling a series of gruelling endurance challenges including swimming, hiking and cycling to raise awareness of maternal health concerns. Braving the cold in a stylish wetsuit and matching cap, Alex, 40, completed a swim across the freezing waters of Loch Ness yesterday.
