BOOZING racegoers are set to smash drinking records at this week’s festival.
Punters got through 265,000 pints of Guinness last year and Ladbrokes reckons even more will be downed this week as well as gallons of lager, wine and champagne.
Organisers will be keen to avoid sights like those in 2016 when Love Island’s Jessica Hayes and Katie Salmon flashed their boobs for the cameras.
Bookies could need a drink tomorrow as they stand to lose £20million from savvy gamblers on horses including Getabird, Footpad and Faugheen.
Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “This year’s festival is set to smash all bookmaking records on course, online and in shops across the country.”
