Aldi top of tots!
A BOTTLE of rum from Aldi has won a top award beating a bottle three times as expensive.
Aldi’s Old Hopking Spiced Rum, which costs £10.49, received a gold medal at the Spirits Business Rum & Cachaca Masters.
It came ahead of World’s End Tiki Spiced rum at £35.75. Aldi’s Old Hopking White Rum (£9.99) received a silver medal.
Julie Ashfield, of Aldi UK, said: “It’s fantastic to see our rum range being praised by spirits experts.
“A gold medal is a real achievement.”
