IT’S the week all racing fans have been waiting for.

The Cheltenham Festival kicks off tomorrow with seven races and over £4.5million in prize money over the four days.

It is the meeting when champions are crowned and reputations are won and lost.

Around 200,000 will pitch up to eat, drink, be merry and have a bet. Apple’s Jade is a warm order to win tomorrow’s OLBG Mares Hurdle ® for the second year running. Buveur D’Air is back for the Champion Hurdle which he won for the first time 12 months ago.

The Irish are expected to come off best on the opening day. They have five of the favourites – Getabird, Footpad, Apple’s Jade, Jury Duty and De Plotting Shed.

Coo Star Sivola and Buveur D’Air are seen as the two likeliest English winners.
