ENGLAND’S Matt Wallace beat Andrew ‘Beef ’ Johnston in a play-off to win the Indian Open in New Delhi yesterday.

Both players finished on 11 under par.

Local hero and joint overnight leader Shubhankar Sharma collapsed with a final round 75.

Wallace said: “I’m ecstatic. I’ve played some of the best golf of my life and to do it in style at the end there just capped it off.”
