World record scratch prize up for grabs

THE world’s largest scratchcard prize has been unveiled – with a jackpot of £10million.

Lottoland announced the bumper sum in its new 10 Million game.

It says it offers players better odds than cards offered by the UK National Lottery, with more than one in every two players winning a prize.

Nowhere else in the world can players scoop a larger amount on a scratchcard or online competition. Lottoland chief executive Nigel Birrell said: “The popularity of online scratchcards throughout the world is on the rise. With our RiNG technology, we’ve changed the game.

“This record-breaking scratchcard gives customers the chance to become a deci-millionaire.

“It also offers better odds than the UK National Lottery scratchcards. And unlike many other operators who sell scratchcards, you never have to worry the top prize has already gone when buying.”

The launch comes after Brits said they would need to win £5.4m on the lottery to satisfy all their dreams. The figure of £5,402,013 was “just enough” to buy the most-desired items, a study found. A holiday home abroad, paying off the mortgage and a new motor were all on the lottery-winning shopping list – as well as a roundthe-world cruise. Andrew Clarke, of Multi lotto.co.uk, who were behind the report, said: “People have worked out almost to the penny what they’d do with a windfall.”
