TODAY: Early rain in the south-east will soon clear. A lot of cloud for many places but some sunny intervals, especially in western areas. A few showers in North Wales in the morning, also in eastern England and Scotland later.

OUTLOOK: Mostly dry and bright in the east tomorrow but cloudier in the west with some rain. Windy. Rain on Thursday, some heavy in the south, but the east will stay dry.
