DENTIST’S CHAIR: Gazza showed he can laugh at himself with his famous “dentist’s chair” celebration at Euro 96.
The England squad had been slammed in the papers for a rowdy pre-tournament night out in Hong Kong ending with the team’s joker strapped to a leather chair while a barman poured booze down his throat.
But Gazza had the last laugh after his sensational goal against Scotland – lying flat out while his Lions pals repeated the trick with a bottle of water.
FILM STAR: Gazza trained with the SAS for a film role and movie chiefs handed him a gun in preparation for a part in Final Run.
The dad-of-three had a glint in his eye as he brandished the rifle but the final effort never made it to the cinema.
RAOUL MOAT’S MATE: There was one strange moment in the tragic story of deranged Raoul Moat, who injured ex-lover Samantha Stobbart, murdered her new partner Chris Brown and blinded police officer David Rathband.
As his stand-off with the police escalated, Gazza thought he would come to the rescue.
He tried to persuade cops to let him give lager and fried chicken to Moat, believing he could convince the armed killer to turn himself in if they went fishing together.
Gazza claimed the pair were old friends but the police said no.
CIGARETTE BREAK: Gazza showed he was one of the lads as he shoved cigarettes up his nose and in his ears while giving a lewd gesture.
