DOM HELPS LIONS LAND A ONE-TOE!

LIVERPOOL striker Dominic Solanke could barely get his boot on as he prepared for England Under-21s Euro qualifier with Ukraine last night.

But that did not stop the supersub rescuing the Young Lions’ proud winning streak with a dramatic late goal at Bramall Lane.

His superbly guided 88th-minute header from Ben Chilwell’s cross made it 30 straight victories on English soil for Aidy England U-21 ...... 2 Boothroyd’s boys. Ukraine U-21 ....... 1

The goal came from a quick pass out of defence by Josh Onomah and a diagonal through ball from James Maddison.
