Lock ’em up for life

-

THE furore over black cab rapist John Worboys’ scrapped release was always going to lead to questions over other cases.

Now Denise Fergus, the mother of Jamie Bulger, is calling for the Parole Board to look at its treatment of evil paedophile Jon Venables.

His monstrous 1993 murder of the toddler with Robert Thompson still sickens us all to the core.

Denise is right: they should never have been released.

But Venables must now have blown any chance of rehabilitation after being sent back to prison for a second time for child porn offences.

For persistent and dangerous offenders like him and Worboys, there must be no second chances or sympathy from the Parole Board. Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik – March 2018: Gigi wrote: “Breakup statements often seem impersonal because there is really no way to put into words what two people experience together over a few years, not only in the relationship, but in life in general.

“I’m forever grateful for the love, time, and life lessons that Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him and will continue to support him as a friend that I have immense respect and love for. xG”

And from Zayn: “Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time. We love you all.” Jennifer Aniston & Justin Theroux – February 2018: “This decision was mutual and lovingly made at the end of last year. We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship. Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate, we wanted to convey the truth directly.” Michael Sheen & Sarah Silverman – February 2018: “The great @michaelsheen & I consciously uncoupled over Christmas. No fight. We just live in different countries & it got hard. Felt we should just tell y’all so u stop askin.” Drew Barrymore & Will Kopelman – April 2016: “Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family. Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority.” Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin – March 2014: “It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard to see what might have been possible between us. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and hope as we consciously uncouple and coparent, we will be able to continue in the same manner.” Courteney Cox & David Arquette – May 2013: “We have agreed to a trial separation to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. ” Jim Carrey & Jenny McCarthy – April 2010: “Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I’m grateful 4 the many blessings we’ve shared and I wish her the best!” Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt – January 2005: “We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate. This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration. We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another.”
