DANNY WASHBROOK insists no one at Hull is panicking.

But the forward admits it’s vital to win at Widnes tonight to stay in the chase for the top four spots.

Hull lie sixth, three points adrift of fourth-placed Leeds and eight points behind leaders St Helens.

They have also played more games than three of the teams above them and are struggling to find away form.

But Washbrook said: “I wouldn’t say it’s a worry at this stage but the closer we can be to the top the better for us.

“We have just got to make sure that we are in the top four come the business end of the season.”

Hull have lost all four away games so far and Washbrook knows they need to put that right tonight.

He said: “We have been to some tough places and lost to teams that will be fighting at the top.

Massive

“But hopefully we will get back to winning ways this week. We have trained hard.

“There was not much in it when we lost at St Helens but they edged the little things and we need to learn from that.”

Both Hull and eighth-placed Widnes go into their televised clash with massive injury problems.

Hull are missing six key players but Fetuli Talanoa is expected to be fit after limping out of the 26-12 defeat at Saints with a dead leg.
