MAIDEN MOLLIE

- by JENNIFER DUNKERLY

SHE’S known for singing in The Saturdays, but these sexy swimsuits can be worn any day of the week.

Sizzling Mollie King is all set for summer as she launches her latest collection for Boux Avenue. It’s the third time the girlband and Strictly star has stripped off for the high-street brand, modelling its lingerie, since their 2011 launch.

And the 30-year-old star is looking red-hot in the latest range of luxurious swimsuits and bikinis.

It’s sure to send the pulse racing of her latest boyfriend, England and Nottinghamshire cricket hunk Stuart Broad, 31, whom she has been dating since early March.

Mollie previously denied a romance with her Strictly Come Dancing partner AJ Pritchard, insisting she had been single since dating model David Gandy last year.

Now she reveals: “I love being in love. I literally love being in love. I’m so romantic. I’m such a girly girl. I don’t want to be in one of those couples where you feel like, ‘Are we really into each other?’”

“Women are now so independent and I see a

husband or boyfriend as a bonus,” she adds. “We’ve all worked really hard to be success rather ful for ourselves rather than for who we are dating.”

Mollie – who once dated Prince Harry – has previously admitted preferring American men to British because they are more open with their feelings.

She says: “I was in a long-term relationship with an American guy and they’re a lot more forward with their feelings.

Sessions

“I think British guys, from what I know, are a bit more Mr Darcy

“Americans are more upfront, which I quite like, to be honest, because I don’t really like the chase.”

Mollie puts her enviable beach body down to weekly sessions with a personal trainer as well as eating healthily and hitting the gym when she can.

But like most of us, she has body hang-ups too. “I’d like more of a booty, but I’m always

going to have a tomboy shape,” she admits. “I’m never going to be Nicki Minaj.

“There are bits that I would like to – OK, pretty much every part of my body – I’d like to improve.”

But rather than turn to surgery like a lot of celebrities, she explains she would rather get sporty instead.

Mollie says: “I would love to do more sport to get fit. I need to work on my obliques to try and nip in my tummy.

“But I do think you get to a point where you have to accept yourself and say, ‘This is my figure, and I could work on it, but I’m never going to drastically change it’.”

When it comes to diet, Mollie tries to maintain a healthy balance.

She says: “Yeah I think it’s about everything in moderation. I have a really sweet tooth, I always have.

“So I have to have a dessert after lunch and dinner even if it’s something light like an ice cream.

“If I’m going to have something sweet it’s easier to have a lighter dinner option like a fish or a salad. Everything in moderation I’d say.”

Since leaving Strictly last year, Mollie has been snapped up by BBC Radio 1 to help launch its new weekend schedule. It will be music to her fans’ ears as the top station announced she will be starting Friday, Saturday and Sunday shows on Radio 1 in June as part of a revamped line-up.

The BBC announced it would be ditching Nick Grimshaw on a Friday morning and instead introducing a new Weekend Breakfast Show to help create more of a party atmosphere as listeners prepare for the weekend.

Thrilled

Mollie, meanwhile ,will pair up with funnyman Matt Edmondson to present an afternoon show from 1-4pm.

And she is thrilled to join the team, saying: “I literally can’t wait!! Dreams do come true guys, go out there and get them!”

Mollie added: “This is an absolute dream for me! The only person more excited than me is my mum, who is delighted I finally have a proper job.

“I’ve had so much fun working with Matt over the past few weeks.

“And I’m so glad I’m no longer just ‘Mollie from The Saturdays’, but ‘Mollie from the Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays’.”
