BRITAIN’S GOT NO TALENT
Fury at show’s foreign acts

BRITAIN’S Got Talent is running out of UK acts, say show insiders.
On Saturday, boss Simon Cowell, above, said it was “amazing” that acts from all over the world were auditioning for the ITV show.
But producers have been accused of filling the line-up with foreign novelty acts who have made a name for themselves abroad already.
This weekend’s show was stuffed full of not-so-secret acts from overseas.
The head-balancing Giang Brothers from Vietnam appeared on a Filipino show called It’s Showtime performing the same stunt last year.
Same-sex dancers David de Menes and Javier Padilla auditioned for Spain’s Got Talent in 2017. And wacky dancer Radu-Alexandru Patrunsu was on Romania’s Got Talent in 2014.
And they are not the only ones on Saturday’s show who are seasoned performers. The Lost Voice Man, comedian Lee Ridley, had a pilot BBC Three show last year.
Father Ray Kelly, who performed REM’s Everybody Hurts, signed to Universal in 2014 and has released a covers album and a Christmas CD.
And rock singer Jenny Darren, who belted out AC/DC’s Highway To Hell, has released 10 albums.
A show spokeswoman said: “Britain’s Got Talent offers the opportunity for people to showcase their talent and we explore every avenue to ensure we are showing the best talent around.”
