GREAT BRITISH BAKE IS OFF

Katie Price pulled out after 15km. Last night she hit back at those who criticised her for not being prepared enough.
She posted on Instagram: “I did train for the run, tried my best in a heavy outfit and if my mummy is proud that’s what matters to ® me.” Confirming that Katie had pulled out, mum Amy said: “She may not have completed it but she’s raised so much awareness, it’s been worth it for the British Lung Foundation.”
Fans noticed that the 39-year-old had dropped out early when she was seen having tea with her mother.
Hundreds of medics were on standby in The Mall as more than 40,000 people sweltered in sizzling temperatures.
Race officials urged runners to ditch heavy costumes and added showers and ice cold flannels to the route.
Chris Evans said: “I was worried about my heart, lungs or legs giving out.”
Other celebs, including Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett, breezed over the finishing line.
