ARSENE WENGER’S final trip to Old Trafford ended in a Fergie time defeat.

And the departing Arsenal boss then revealed he could take an extended break from the game.

Marouane Fellaini struck in stoppage time, as Manchester United so often did under old boss Sir Alex Ferguson, to seal the points.

Wenger had earlier been given a warm reception and was presented with a silver vase before kick-off from old foe Fergie.

The Frenchman, who will end 22 years in charge of Arsenal next month, admits he has no idea where his future lies.

Wenger, 68, said: “I’m in unknown territory. Will I take a break? I will be surprised if I meet Jose Mourinho next year. He will be at Manchester

TOTTENHAM boss Mauricio Pochettino has warned fans not to expect the club to splash out when they move to their new 62,000-seat stadium.

Spurs are set to move into their new home in time for next season.

But boss Pochettino (below) said: “It’s not suddenly going to change everything and millions of pounds will rain from the sky.

“We are victims of our own success because we are ahead in our project.

“But we cannot change because the club cannot change. It cannot go, ‘OK, now we are going to do the same as Manchester United are doing’.

“The target was to arrive in the new stadium in four years and to create a team to fight for the top four and the second year to play Champions League.

“It’s not easy to accept to be close, nearly to touch and be disappointed again, but that is normal.”

Spurs host Watford tonight desperate to stretch their lead over fifth-place Chelsea. Watford’s away-day misery has seen them fail to score in almost 11 hours of football in a barren run that dates back to January 2. And manager Javier Gracia said: “We need all of the players to help us to score.

“It’s not only the strikers, the players who usually have more chances, as we need all of the players to contribute.

“It would be a good moment to score at Wembley and break this bad spell. The club’s best position in the Premier League was 13th and we have the chance to improve on that.”
