CHARLIE McCANN

- BET OF THE WEEK

THERE’S no way back for Stoke at home to Crystal Palace in today’s early kick-off.

Paul Lambert’s side must win to have any chance of dodging the drop.

And he will be looking for more from Xherdan Shaqiri who has neither scored nor assisted in his last eight league games.

Shaqiri is likely to leave if Stoke drop into the Championship and Everton, Liverpool, Roma, Spurs and Milan are all 8-1 to sign the Switzerland international.

He scored a great goal at Goodison last season but has been living off it for too long.

Meanwhile Palace have climbed the table with Wilfried Zaha scoring four times – with one assist – in his last four games.

It will be interesting to see if one of the big six make a bid for the pacey striker in the summer.

The Potters are 17-10 at BetVictor to keep the points. They showed character in the 0-0 at Anfield last weekend – they now need to turn that character into goals and three points at lunchtime. If they keep Zaha quiet, I feel they have an excellent chance of putting pressure on Southampton, Swansea and Huddersfield.

Zaha is 5-1 to join Chelsea in the summer transfer window with Manchester City 6s, Spurs 8s and 12s Bar.

In the late kick-off it is likely to be a rather muted atmosphere at Goodison Park.

Back-to-back wins and two clean sheets may not have done enough for the locals to yet clutch Sam Allardyce to their hearts although the Blues have a knack of scoring with their first shot on target. I think relegation-threatened Southampton will take a point from a 1-1 draw which is 11-2.

Cenk Tosun was hardly flavour of the month with Allardyce in the initial period following his January signing but it is the Turk’s goals at Stoke and Huddersfield and home to Brighton that helped put Everton in the top half of the division.

Arsenal halftime/fulltime in Wenger’s 606th and final home game as Gunners manager ....................11-8
