We can still Col the shots

- By JASON MELLOR

COLLIN QUANER says Huddersfield are out to be double party-poopers.

David Wagner’s relegation-threatened side travel to the Etihad tomorrow hoping to stun Manchester City.

And with the fight for survival set to go down to the wire, Quaner (below) says they will want to ruin Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal send-off.

The Frenchman brings down the curtain at

Arsenal with a final-day trip to the

Terriers.

Huddersfield are three points clear of danger but face a nightmare run-in with a trip to Chelsea between their dates with City and the Gunners.

German striker Quaner said: “There will be a lot of distractions with City’s title presentation and everything that surrounds it. But we won’t be starstruck. They are deserved champions but we’re not going there just to try and swap shirts after the game. We know what we have to do in order to stay in this division.

“We realise what a tough final week we have, and if it has to go down to the final game against Arsenal for us to see ourselves safe, then we’ll give everything we have to finish the job off in front of our own fans.” Wagner played down talk of joining his best mate Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, with the Reds boss set to lose No.2 Zeljko Buvac. Wagner, who joined Huddersfield in 2015, said: “I’m fully committed to my role here.

“I know Zeljko well, he’s a quiet guy who has an incredible knowledge of the game and a great football brain.

“But until he takes up a No.1 role somewhere we’ll not know if he can do it at that level.”
