PHARRELL Williams is
Havana great time with Camila Cabello again – the pair have dropped new Cuban pop banger Sangria Wine to follow up her PW-produced hit last summer.
The salsa-laced tune raised a few as
45-year-old Pharrell gets a tad steamy with
21-year-old Camila. He croons: “Cause it’s so awesome how she move her body (ow)”
I suppose when you look as young as Phazza you can get away with anything. His beauty secret? “I exfoliate like a madman.”
“NICE to see you,” murmured Ray as he sauntered on stage, but in truth it was harder to see the man who worked in a shoe factory before finding fame.
Despite standing on a brightly-lit stage, the singer-songwriter’s face was hidden by the shadow of his cowboy hat.
That led to the odd drunken heckle, but his fans were mostly on their best behaviour – captivated by the 44-year-old’s voice and elegant tracks from new album Part Of The Light.
High-pitched yet husky, his voice is a unique instrument. It sounded even better when harmonising with bassist
from alt-rockers on newies Such A Simple Thing and To The Sea.
Ray showed what those pipes could really do later, on fan favourite Trouble, which almost took the roof off the Apollo. Powerful stuff.
