Warrington is ready to take crown

- IN ASSOCIATION WITH

JOSH WARRINGTON will be all charged up for what could turn out to be a classic with Lee Selby tonight.

The Leeds fighter gets his dream night as he challenges for Selby’s IBF featherweight title under the lights at Elland Road, the home of his beloved football team.

I love putting on big stadium fights and thankfully the weather forecast is good for this one.

But the most important thing is we have a brilliant fight as the main event is worthy to be on a big outdoor bill.

This will be a hightempo fight thanks to Warrington’s style.

When the bell goes, he will come out all guns blazing, looking to put it on the defending champion.

You might think the Yorkshireman has Duracell batteries in him as he will be going non-stop.

Selby will try to keep Warrington at bay and that should make for an entertaining clash.

CHRIS McKENNA favourite. On the day of the royal wedding, Selby may feel this is all set up to be Warrington’s night to be crowned new champion.

He may be the challenger but he has home advantage, the fight at his football club and the people of Leeds roaring him on.

But being cheered on by the Leeds crowd will be crucial for Warrington.

He needs to be at his very best to beat Selby, who is making his fifth defence of the IBF title.

And that means he needs the crowd to lift him to a career-best performance.

Elland Road has seen some big nights under the lights – this could be another one.
