Classy Computable looks switched on

-

THERE is an estimated

£850,000 in combined funds for this weekend’s Scoop6 plus Fred has put up an extra

£100k for a single winner placing their bet through a Betfred or Totepool channel.

We start at Newbury where Eqtidaar is taken to build on a promising reappearance run. He has only had three starts but looks to have a good springing campaign ahead for Sir Michael Stoute.

The London Gold Cup is one of the best three-year-old handicaps of the year and Massaar is chosen to follow up his recent Doncaster success for Roger Varian.

To Newmarket for a very competitive sprint for the classic generation and Michael Dods sends Wahoo to land this valuable prize.

He was not beaten far at HQ in a sales race last season and was impressive on his seasonal debut at Doncaster three weeks ago.

Computable was an encouraging third over course and distance at Thirsk eleven days ago and is better off at the weights with his conqueror Acclaim The Nation. The four-year-old can land leg four. Back to Berkshire where Beat The Bank is the selection in the day’s feature, the Lockinge Stakes.

He was progressive last year and landed the Joel Stakes in scintillating style at Newmarket. He was well held on Champions Day, but may not enjoy Ascot as that was his second poor run there and can bounce back in this Group One.

In the finale from Thirsk, Parys Mountain can cap a good day for Tim Easterby.
