THE Queen was the only royal to emerge yesterday as the nation recovered from a post-wedding hangover.

Millions of patriotic Brits partied all night to celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan’s fairytale wedding ceremony.

But many were struggling after sinking 50million pints toasting the newlyweds in pubs and bars.

There was no sign of Harry, Meghan or best man Prince William.

But the Queen, 92, still made an early morning trip to church.

It came after a day – and night – to remember which centred around an intimate evening do at fancy country estate Frogmore House.

The 200 guests danced to Harry’s favourite house music, were entertained by funnyman James Corden and enjoyed a “naughty” best man speech from William.

Harry is also said to have praised his new wife for the “dignified” way she handled a “tough week”, referring to the will-he-won’t-he drama surrounding her absent father Thomas Markle.

The 73-year-old stayed in Mexico to recover from heart surgery and watched the wedding on TV.

Harry said: “We make such a great team.

“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”

Meghan also had her say in a huge break from royal tradition where she reportedly proclaimed that she is “proud to be a feminist”.

She is also said to have thanked the Royal Family for welcoming her into The Firm.

Celebs including the Beckhams, Clooneys, Idris Elba, 45, and Sir Elton John, 71, who took their seats at the main event.

Guests dined on posh burgers among other dishes, with candyfloss on offer for those with a sweet tooth and there was reportedly a cocktail available named When Harry Met Meghan.

While the dinner guests were enjoying the celebration at Frogmore House, some of the cast of Suits, the hit show Meghan starred in, staged their own karaoke evening. Rachel Renna, the makeup artist for Meghan’s fashion stylist Jessica Mulroney, posted a video on the internet of the actors crooning to songs.

Meanwhile, Windsor’s huge cleanup operation was launched.

More than 100,000 people had descended on the small Berkshire town for the wedding.

Barriers were removed and trucks lined the streets clearing away rubbish while TV crews from around the world packed up their equipment and headed off.

Police maintained a heavy presence in Windsor as part of the £30million security operation.
