Albert’s jig for victory

- By DAVE ARMITAGE

ALBERT ADOMAH is ready to put on his dancing shoes if Aston Villa clinch a Premier League prize at Wembley tomorrow.

Adomah (inset) is known for throwing some shapes in the dressing room and the winger confesses to being a fan of Strictly Come Dancing.

He said: “I watch Strictly. Hopefully, one day when I retire you might see me on there.

“I am not sure about the sequins. I will wear a man suit. I am not sure about that funny business.

“I like Strictly but I think my moves would be a bit different. I am not sure if you would call it the samba or the tango. I think you might call it the AA dance.”

The Ghana international, Villa’s top scorer with 15 goals this season is confident Villa can overhaul a Fulham side who start out as favourites.

Adomah, 30, added: “Maybe I can show a few moves if we come out on top. Hopefully we can turn up on the day and perform as a team. I think that is the main thing.

“It’s two massive teams in the final which is good. It’s going to be a tough game, because there’s a lot of expectation on both sides.”

Villa can count upon the likes of Premier League veterans John Terry and Mile Jedinak. Adomah hopes that wealth of experience stands them in good stead.

He added: “We’ve got players who’ve been there and won – and hopefully that’ll show on the day.”
