WHAT’S HOT TO WATCH TODAY

THE lawyers who argue inside court and out have a lot more argy-bargy in tonight’s final episode of THE SPLIT (9pm, BBC1). Fans probably won’t be pleased to discover that Hannah and Nathan (Nicola Walker and Stephen Mangan) are trying to save their marriage rather than see her run off with dishy exflame-turned-colleague Christie (Barry Atsma).

And Goldie (Meera Syal) finally has her big day in court, only for a big revelation in the courtroom to change everything. NORTH Yorkshire may look a dreamy combo of green hills and cosy tea rooms, but Jamie Theakston shows us the darker side of life there in TRAFFIC COPS: DRUG BUSTS SPECIAL (9pm, Channel 5).

This special edition of the series films a new police unit set up to tackle suspected drug dealers in the county and follows along as cops try to root out these criminals, a task that results in a high-speed chase through the streets of Harrogate.

MEET a quartet of blokes helping women to become mums in 4 MEN, 175 BABIES: BRITAIN’S SUPER SPERM DONORS (10pm, Channel 4). Doing what it says on the tin, the documentary follows the four sperm donors over the course of a year to find out why they do it and how they hook up with the women concerned. SCANDALS erupt fairly frequently in sport, and MOST SHOCKING MOMENTS IN SPORT (10pm, Channel 5) reminds us of the astonishing, from Freddie Flintoff’s boozy antics to the epic fall from grace of Lance Armstrong.

Among those contributing are goalie Peter Shilton, swimmer Sharron Davis and Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards.
