PETROLHEADS can now get their hands on a Bugatti Chiron supercar – made of Lego.

Car fanatics can recreate the cutting-edge £2million motor in little plastic bricks for a much more reasonable £329.99. „

The pack turns 3,600 of the familiar blocks into a unique replica that is 5in high, 9in wide and 22in long.

But it will take even the most die-hard Lego fan days of painstaking graft to complete.

A DRINK-driver was banned from the road after he was stopped by police and blamed a pretend pal – John Smith.

Stephen Slark, 40, was pulled over shortly after he was seen by plainclothes officers driving his van. The scrap metal dealer insisted his friend John Smith – the name of a famous beer – had been behind the wheel. Slark, below, who has a grinning demon tattoo on his neck, told officers: “I haven’t been driving – it was my mate John.” He then claimed that his fictional pal had done a runner.

But Slark’s lies unravelled when his slow-witted female friend failed to catch on.

She asked: “Who’s John? I’ve never heard of him.” The incident – in which Slark was quizzed by police who stopped him near Hove railway station, East Sussex – is not the first time the serial crook has made news. In 2015 he posted photos of himself sitting on top of a police car on the Sussex Police Facebook page after officers put out a “most wanted” appeal to find him.

The convicted burglar was found guilty at Lewes Crown Court of drink-driving while on a suspended sentence. Slark, of Southwick, West Sussex, was sentenced to three months in prison, suspended for 18 months, and banned from driving for four years.
