LOVE Island’s babes are set to meet the show’s funniest and dimmest-ever hunk.
Niall Aslam will give last year’s contestant Chris Hughes a run for his money in the intelligence stakes.
Chris had fans in stitches with daft sayings like “I’m like a polar bear”, “I’m an Easter egg fridged for too many days – you won’t crack me” and “All the girls here fancy me”.
But 23-year-old student Niall from Coventry looks set to outshine him when it comes to comedy banter.
In a hilarious chat with the Daily Star before he enters the villa on Monday, he spilled the beans about his tangled love life including his invisible holiday romances in Magaluf and a failed threesome.
Niall boasted: “I think I can bring something different. A bit of quirky chat.”
The cheeky lad is among the six hunks chosen to appear on the ITV2 dating show filmed in Spain in the hope of finding romance with the likes of Danny Dyer’s daughter, a former Miss Blackpool and a West End star. The romeo has only had one serious girlfriend when he was 17 and they split after three years because he strayed.
But he excuses his poor behaviour by saying: “I was thinking ‘Is the grass greener on the other side’ and I wanted to sample the grass!”
He says that officially he has slept with 40 girls – but the real number is a lot higher.
He said: “You can’t count the ones in Magaluf. You don’t count girls on holiday. Maga never happened.”
Niall – who is studying social work but wants to be a salesman – definitely won’t be shy about having sex in the villa, even though there are 73 cameras watching him.
He said: “They don’t show a lot, do they? Just a bit of a rustle under the covers.
“I know I’m not the biggest lad in the world and there is probably going to be ‘proteined up Jimmy’ in there and I’m going to be there trying to nick his missus.
“I will still try it. I mean he won’t have chat like me. You have got to have chat.”
The young gun has tried to have wild times in the past but not everything has gone to plan.
He revealed: “I was going to have a threesome. I got these two girls and I went to go into the hotel with them but the geezer wouldn’t let me in.”
The new series of Love Island – hosted by Caroline Flack – launches on Monday on ITV2 at 9pm.
