ROAD RAGE CYCLIST’S ZOMBIE KNIFE FRENZY
Horror attack on car
A TERRIFIED motorist ran for his life after a cyclist armed with a huge zombie knife attacked his car in a shocking road rage attack.
The rush-hour confrontation was sparked when a Volkswagen Polo almost hit the attacker’s bike.
Shocking dashcam footage from another vehicle shows the cyclist jumping off his bike and running towards the car.
Commuters watched in horror as the thug produced a 10-inch hunting knife and started raining blows on the Polo’s windows.
The frenzied thug eventually smashed through the glass, causing the 19-yearold driver to jump out of the car and run off down the street.
Two more men are seen running up to the Polo, but it is unknown if they were trying to help the terrified driver or were with the attacker.
Police are investigating the shocking incident in Croydon, south London, on Wednesday afternoon.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “We have established that the driver of the car was approached by a male in possession of a knife who smashed his window.
“In an attempt to escape he collided with another vehicle before exiting on foot.
“The victim later returned to his car after the suspect made off. Enquiries continue.”
The attack comes as tensions over knife crime in the capital are at an all-time high.
Since January, 37 people have been fatally stabbed and 62 others have been attacked with knives.
Knife crime across the UK has risen by 21%.
