Knotted can Get in frame

-

YORK and GET KNOTTED (2.25) are the perfect match. He’s been placed on six of his nine runs there, including two wins, and has his 10th start at the track in today’s JCB Handicap.

He ran well at York last time, when third to Gilgamesh and the handicapper has dropped him 1lb for that. He’s drawn OK in eight and I’d be disappointed if he is not in the places.

Hope

Get Knotted looks my best hope of the day, but have a close look at LINCOLN PARK (4.40), my ride in the Reg Griffin Appreciation ebfstallions. com Maiden Stakes.

He made his debut in a strong conditions race at Pontefract. Nothing went right for him as he was badly bumped and hampered at the start and ran green throughout. I know his trainer Tony Coyle thinks a fair bit of him and you should see a much-improved showing this time.

All eyes are on Royal Ascot next week and I’m delighted to be there for at least the first two days.

MABS CROSS lines up in the King’s Stand Stakes. It’s her first go in a Group One, but she showed she was up to the level when beaten less than a length by Battaash at Haydock three weeks ago.

I have to say she is absolutely flying at home and could not be in better form. She’s around 20-1 and that represents great each-way value.

I’m also delighted that James Tate and connections have kept me on SECOND GENERATION, who runs in the Queen Mary on Wednesday.

She got no luck in running on debut at Catterick and I rode her at the same track next time, when she won by six lengths. I was very impressed and am really looking forward to seeing how she gets on.
